The benefits of membership are both direct and indirect, concrete and abstract. Although primarily personal, participation in APM also benefits those persons to whom and with whom you minister:
- Communication: all mailings, invitation to contribute to the website; an annual directory; and various communications from the executive board
- Programs and Business Meetings that promote networking, community building, on-going education, through professional and spiritual development
- Active Participation: Shared leadership roles on the executive board, committees, Coalition of Ministries, and various task forces.
- A Relationship with the National Association of Lay Ministers (NALM): APM Board has a covenant relationship NALM as a local / regional association. NALM promotes Vision—Voice and Vitality for persons in lay ministry.
